Why I made Kitchen Closed.

I’m Ben. I kept opening delivery apps late at night, “just to look”, and ordering food I didn’t really want.

Deleting the apps never lasted. They take thirty seconds to reinstall.

I didn’t want to give up takeout. I wanted the apps to keep sensible hours, the way a kitchen does. So I built Kitchen Closed: a lock that closes at the hours I pick, keys for the nights I really want in, and a receipt every Sunday showing what I kept.

It’s an independent app, made by me. I use it every night.
